Special children are categorized to the type of disability that they have.
One of the physically and mentally disabling disorder common among children since birth is cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is caused by neurological damage specifically on the brain. The extent of physical disability can vary in extent and severity from one cerebral palsy patient to another. In cerebral palsy, a child’s nervous system may be damaged resulting to paralysis, flaccidity or spasticity that make simple movements and activities difficult to do.
